As many of you know, John received a stem cell transplant in early January at Mass General Hospital. The latest PET scan shows that the lymphoma has returned.
He will be transferred from MGH to Newton-Wellesley this week to receive additional chemotherapy to reduce the lymphoma symptoms and to help him be more comfortable.
We will be posting regularly with both treatment updates and some of our favorite pictures of John.
Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time.
Liz, Thanks to your generation for making it easier for us to be connected. You are terrific! Best wishes and love to all of you. Will you please let us know how we can help? Visits? Food? Flowers? Cards? Prayers we will continue. Love, Nancy....and Robert and Steven
ReplyDeleteWe got to know John through the JustFaith program at OL, and in the RCIA program. What a mind, what courage, what humor, what deep faith, and joy in life!! Thanks for keeping us updated and we hold you all in our prayers. Let us know if we can help with transportation and support during his new treatments. Love and peace, Gretchen and Richard (Daggett)
